Cancellation & Refund Policy

When Cancellations Are Allowed

Cancellations and refunds will only be approved under the following circumstances:

If a session cannot be provided after booking and payment due to non-availability of the counsellor.
If both the client and counsellor mutually agree to reschedule the session.

Situations Where Refunds Will Not Be Allowed

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

If the client fails to inform us at least 1 hour before the scheduled session.
If the client does not join the session within the 15-minute buffer time.

Refund Calculation for Multiple Session Packages

If a client purchases multiple sessions (for example 3 or 5 sessions) and decides to discontinue the services before completing the package, refunds will be calculated based on the number of sessions already taken at the standard single-session rate.

Example

Fee for 1 session: ₹2000
Fee for 3 sessions package: ₹5000

If a client attends 2 sessions and then decides to discontinue:

Payable amount for 2 sessions = ₹2000 × 2 = ₹4000
Amount already paid = ₹5000
Refundable amount = ₹1000

Refunds will always be calculated based on sessions already completed.

Mode of Refund

Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used during the transaction.
If it is not possible to initiate the refund through the original payment method, another online payment method may be used with the client’s consent.
Cash transactions are not permitted on this platform for payments or refunds.

Refund Processing Time

Once the cancellation or refund request is approved, the refund will be initiated within 48 hours.
The amount may take up to 5 working days to reflect in the client’s account depending on the payment provider.

Clients can request cancellation by contacting us or through their booking account where applicable.

Discontinuation of Services

If a client wishes to discontinue counselling services after booking a package, they may request a refund for the unused portion of the package. The refund will be calculated based on the sessions already completed as per the refund calculation policy mentioned above.

Final Decision

In case of any dispute regarding cancellations or refunds, the decision of the management of Manomitram Counselling Centre shall be final and binding.

The management also reserves the right to modify or update these policies at any time without prior notice.
